Bachelor food

The kind of food you cook for yourself when you're alone. This is not food your health care professional would condone. Also, this thread is useless without pics.
My wife is working tonight and I want to get to work on the Pcar so I cooked up this open faced burger. It ain't perdy, but man it was good!! Toasted slice of bread with Dijon mustard, hot banana peppers, manzanilla stuffed olives, fried onions, then the burger with maple smoked bacon over the old cheddar cheese.

When I cook for myself it is either fish or some type of breakfast food since I don't have to worry about undercooking fish and breakfast foods mean very little prep-time.

Nice burger! I just got hungry.

I think Beanie-Weenies are my easy bachelor treat. That and Japanese Udon Noodles with a PB&J sandwich.

I think I might have you beat. Spaghetti with ketchup. All I had in the fridge was that and Moosehead.

I like the baked potato myself. Little salad dressing and some cheese you have a meal. Put in some Wolf brand chili, if you get tired of Italian or Ranch. Sack of potatoes goes a long way. Maybe ramen noodles with an egg in them. Mac and cheese with a can of tuna in it, not bad, with enough Tabasco, but that will fix a lot of things. When I think bachelor, I think cheap fast and easy, saving for a car or house.

Prefer the burger cooked on a cast iron skillet, if I am indoors. Maybe some marinated chicken or even some blackened catfish cooked outdoors on the grill. Or grilled zucchini, if it is summertime

Sometimes when you are cleaning out the fridge, you can do pretty well. I had half a loaf of french bread, a few pieces of bacon, a red onion, a little olive oil, some red wine and a bunch of fresh spinach...cut up the bacon and onion, cooked it until the bacon was done and onions were carmelized, poured in the red wine and cooked it down some, and had spinach salad with warm dressing on it.

I've said it here before, and I'm sticking to it. Er . . It's sticking to me, probably. On the inside.

Kraft Mac and Cheese with Hot Dogs. MMMMMMMMMM. Grill the hot dogs before slicing. Or, cut 'em up and fry em in a skillet before combining. MMMMMMMMMMM.

My bachelor meals are always the same. 1 or 2 package ramen. 1 egg. 1 can veggies. 1 can tuna. Mix and eat. I figure it must provide lots of food groups in one bowl, plus prep time is about 30 sec.
