Can anyone identify this 22 cal clip?

Found this in a pick up truck I bought/sold last year. Any idea what it fits? I've gone over it looking for some identifying mark... can't find any. It's about 3.5" long on the back side.

That was a rediculously quick answer. If anyone can use this let me know.

*Stunned* that no one has jumped in your business about calling it a 'clip' as opposed to a 'magazine'.

.22's aren't manly enough to have magazines. They have clips.

Will do!

It should fit though. The rifle is a Remington, but it's at my parents house. The clip in the pic looks to be a little longer, but that's fine, the original clip - I mean magazine, only holds 6 rounds.

The rifle at my dads is a 513S the above clip is the 10 round version and is supposed to fit. The rifle ways 9 lbs. According to Wiki anyway. I'll pick the rifle up in a day or two and post pix.

This one holds at least 9 rounds... that's what was in it when I found it in the truck. Wish I'd had a way to contact the guy I bought the truck from to give him all of his stuff. But, on the other hand, the crack pipe would have made it awkward.

OK, the rifle is a Remington 511, but the clip still should fit.

It should fit any of the older Remington .22's that use a clip.

AMEN brother. Clips feed magazines. Magazines feed weapons.

Yup, as in "stripper clip" as used to feed the magazines on M1903 Springfields, M98 Mausers, etc.

That said, colloquial use has now rendered a "clip" a "magazine", and vis versa. Sorta like "engine" and "motor"...

I suppose. When I hear the terms used incorrectly, it helps me gauge the speaker's level of expertise. Kinda like somebody says they're going out to drive their motorcycle.

Lee, The magazine showed up yesterday. Thanks again! I have to mod it to fit the 511, but it does work.

I had posted a new thread with the rifle, but no one seems to care....
