MacBook Pro - Graphics card Q

what is the feasibility of installing a serious graphics card in one of these machines? ...like a Quadro card. --The existing GeForce card is a a detuned Quadro, so I expect they have the same form-factor.

Isn't the GPU soldered to the motherboard? I think it usually is, with notebooks, but don't know about the MBP. Then there's power consumption and heat issues.

Thanks guys. I went to the Apple store today. They had less info than you guys. Tho'their reaction was funny when my question suggested that an Apple product was in any way less than the best. Perhaps when the MB Pro 17 gets an update it will have a quadro series card...tho' I doubt it.
