Pictures of my newest...
Here are some photos of my DPMS AR-15 and AP4 LR308. I'll use the AR for 3-gun matches and the AP4 for the long range shooting. The manual-of-arms is identical for both which is great for training. Dynamite guns.

Personally > I think the MAK-90 / AK-47 knockoff is the best bang for the buck... 7.62x39.. plenty of penetration power.. stopping power.. it's accurate to 300m... it does the job at an affordable cost.
I have mine [MAK] all tricked out .. way to much bling.. too each his own.. there is no perfect solution.. having said that > I do like the M4 varient in the 7.62NATO.. but the $$
