Maybe the most outrages car ever.

I have the second image's poster. I got it from the owner on Sunset Blvd in W. Hollywood one night in traffic circa 1968. I drove across a lawn to get to the guy and he handed this to me. The Dickmoblie is on the inside cover of one of Stepenwolf's albums.

Built by Steven Hastings Paige who was somehow connected to the Hollywood music scene in that era. He told me on the spot that they used a Triumph TR3 chassis. On the poster itself one can pretty well identify the front brakes, etc.

I'd hate to be the guy seen waxing it. Puts all new meaning into "rub one out"

What's the difference between a porcupine and a Dickmobile?

Is circumcision an extra cost option?

I heard that the car is now owned by retired NASCAR driver Dick Trickle

Some more of the story: I was heading towards Hollywood on Sunset when I saw the back of the DM. A big scrotum is what you see from the back. As I said, there was heavy traffic, almost stop and go. so I drove up over the curb and down the sidewalk to get up to the car. I was driving one of my 3 VW convertibles, probably with the top down. Being sort of an overt kind (or possibly drunk ), I'm yelling at the driver telling him how great the car is. The paint job was very realistic wit flesh colors, hair follicles and the blue veins you see in the pics. I guess the guy was prepared because he had the posters with him.

I've sorta checked in from time to time regarding the car since I saw the thing personally that night. The pages come and go on the Net. A while back there was one with the DM parked in what appeared to to the drive of a Hollywood Hills mansion with massive iron gates and all. I'm about 4 computers newer now since I first used a search engine to find out more, s I've probably lost any other images I ever had.

Seems to me I once emailed Steven Paige about the car and he responded. I just don't' remember what the fate of the thing is. I suspect it was dismantled.

Yeah, POP, there are others, but non will ever be as grand as that thing was. I'm sure it was 15 to 17 feet long and 3 feet high at the nose, er, ah, ... head.

I wonder if this is a story for the grandkids? They all know I'm weird anyway. They call me Crazy Milt.
