I'm faster than Jeremy Clarkson!

I just watched an old clip of Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear where he tries to match his Playstation lap times at Laguna Seca driving an Acura NSX. He had the track to himself, but he took horrible lines and was only able to run a 1:57.

I drive like a grandma, but my last time at Laguna Seca I was always under his time when I had a clear track. My best time was 1:50, but I have better tires than Clarkson had. Still, kind of nice knowing that a fat old Englishman who drives supercars for a living might actually be slower than me on the track.

And to think, you beat his time in a 911, a car he despises

I love it, "Aston Martin DB9, no that's not a racing car. That's just pornography."

Clarkson isn't that great of a driver. He's funny as hell and I love the show, but he's not a great driver. Now Tiff (5th Gear)............that man can drive. Too bad their show isn't that entertaining.

This is 'the filthy'.

Please don't gouge you eyes out!

It's all I've got, while 746 is under the knife.
( after Tuesday I'll have logged about 1300 track miles in 'filthy' this year )

Yep. I've run them hard at Thunderhill and Laguna Seca. The biggest test was when I ran over a wheel on the Bay Bridge at 70 MPH. Ouch. Messed up mfy bumper, but the Rota's are not damaged.

Moses, what club/event did you race with? I'd love to try Laguna Seca, but PCA rarely goes there.
