I will not be able to read replies as I have gouged my eyes out.

This fills a niche that has previously gone unfilled:

Apparently, the Porsche stylists have never looked beyond a Porsche dealership for ideas.
And what is in the showroom does not translate well into a four-door sedan.

Perhaps a visit to an Aston Martin dealership is in order.

Looks like a cayenne, only shorter.

Add it to the list of cars I won't be buying.

Exactly. All their styling of these things during the 2000s is the same: Take a picture of a 996/997, give it to a 12 year old with a Photoshop program, stretch a bit here, make taller there, add a few doors, and voila, you have a sedan. Or an SUV. Or whatever.

That 4 door sedan is horrible. It is not only ugly, but it is a stupid idea trying to make a giant front engined sedan look like a rear engined sports car. Pure styling gimmickry.

Porsche exploits the history of the 911 too much. If they want to make a 4 door sedan, they should make a groundbreaking car, which looks to the future. Not some goofy retro derivative-mobile.

The first pic is horrid. The second pic reminds me of a 1980's Lotus.
