That was Ben Stiller.

There was a kid in high school named Kurt Rogers. He wasn't fat, but his a$s was huge. So we called him Butt Rogers. But that got old so we mixed Butt and Kurt and he was forever known as Burt Rogers.

Then we had this librarian who looked like a caveman, huge, thick beard, hairy. We called him Conan the Librarian.

I always liked Ned Beatty's character in Back to School - Dean Martin.

So who's the guy that came up and talked to me as I was washing my Carrera about 4-5 yrs. ago at the place on Rt. 31 just south of the raceway in Flemington? I thought the guy had a 964 and was a Pelican. Doug E doesn't post here anymore, but I think he was from around Pennington.

The fairgrounds are long gone. That must have been more than 5 years ago.

I think the Department Store is still there. I need some jeans.

I knew that. I just couldn't think of the cross street where the car wash is.

Honszlynn and Joycelynn?
Hinler (Himler?) and Aryan Nation?
Adolph Hitler?

While adults can see the parents are really at fault, kids aren't so perceptive. I can see these children being trounced and teased by all their schoolmates who are offended by their names. Which will be everyone....but mostly, jews, blacks, hispanics, and other ethnicities that the aryan nation types single out.

Unfortunately, this will probably reinforce their parents twisted views in the childs minds.

Also, what happens when it is time for Adolph to get a job? Who will want to hire Adolph Hitler?

The parents are sick...Just sick.

They should have named him Adoph COORS Campbell. At least people could relate to that.

My wife came home shaking her head one day about a co-worker who said, "We were going to name him Fletcher, but a friend had already named her little boy that, so we named him Letcher."
There was a silence in the room and someone asked, "Did you look that up before?"
She said, "No. We just took off the 'F' and liked it."
She had no idea what she had done to her son. That kid is going to have such a hard time in school.

I work with a guy who's last name is Mastroberte. Talk about a tough name to have in highschool. I have to be careful when sending an email because Outlook wants to change his name to....well you can figure it out....

I had a GF whose last name was Letcher. I don't recall it being a tough name. And she was black too.

My better half is a community worker with Head Start.

I happened to hear her on the phone with the center director discussing "Latrine's" behavior.

She verified that that really was his name, and he had a sister named Tonawanda (they build big block chevys at G.M.'s Tonowanda plant).
