Building A Toyota 2000GT in Aluminum From Scratch in SoCal!! Wow!
Incredible fabrication, I am usually not stuck for words..but this time I am left dry in the mouth...simply simply amazing.

A few years ago i was working the monterey historics in the toyota booth, featuring two of the shelby 2000GT cars.
Shin showed up and talked to a few of us for a long time about these cars. At first I thought he was full of BS but after a few minutes I realized he knew what he was talking about. My buddy at work has been to Shin's shop and has seen this aluminum car being built. He says it looks better in the pictures than it does in real life, but maybe that's because it was still rough when he was there. |

Wow, the details on those Panhards are really interesting - the torsion bar valve springs in particular. The brake drums are really nice looking as well.
