Today I am 58 years old. I honestly didn't think I would make it this far. I'm hangin' in there with Keith Richards.

Think I'll go bust some clays today.

Actually my 50's have been great. You wake up one day and just don't care what anyone thinks. I think I'll wear mismatched plaids today. Or maybe black sox and sandals.

Happy Bday! Keep hanging in there. I'm only a couple years behind ya. The other day I sneezed and think I separated a muscle on my left ribcage. Agony since, but it's finally feeling a little better this morning. Now I'm afraid to cough, sneeze, fart, or have any fun at all. ;)

Happy B-day. I don't think you cheated death by living to age 58, but I don't know your past. If just living were the criterion, with all the crap that I've been exposed to, I've cheated death 5 more years than you.

However, if you've really cheated death, you shiver each time you think about it. With about 3 occasions, I shiver visibly. One day I won't be so lucky.

now that IS a good idea! 100 rounds at the clays, chili dog and fries, with a shake, beginning to stack up as a nice day. No beer for me thanks, been sober 25 years.

I'll be 47 this year and I've been physically hurting for years now. Ghosts of injuries past coming back to haunt me big time. I can't imagine what 57 will be like...

The doctors do seem very concerned with my a** all of the sudden, but all they could find was that I needed to drop about 30 lbs.
When I exercise the car, and do 12 oz curls doesn't that count?

Well I made it through the day. Thanks to all for helping me celebrate. Mj was down with the flu all day so ya'll were my party today. I had a nice day. Took Buddy and puppy Jack out to the club and busted some clay. Went to Mac D's to share lunch with same dogs. Came home got a good nap, also with same dogs. Watching Ohio State beat Texas also with same dogs. Life is good.

I am a few years behind you, but there seems to be a shortage of days that I really feel good (physically).

Happy Birthday YOUNG man! I've got about 10 years on you and everything is still working - well, almost - you can't have everything.

And writing my autobiography, I documented 11 instances of cheating death/serious injury. None of them in wartime. Nightmares? Fer sure.

Didn't mean to highjack. Just be careful, but enjoy every day.
