You can't tell who looks, but your profile can be set to 'private' so only those you approve can see it.

You also have to be in the same "network" to be able to view someone's profile w/o their approval.

Yep, not many have open public profiles if they are a savvy user.

Yes. In fact she knows you just started this thread!

What the other guys said, so you'll be left looking at a tiny thumbnail picture of your ol gal with her kids.

Almost exactly the same thing happened to me - friends were urging me to sign up, so I did. Within the first 12 hours my psycho ex from university "adds" me with a personal message saying something like "hey Chris, remember me, we were in school together". Uhh, that was only about 10 years ago, and we were in a lot more than school together...

I've found no compelling reason to join Facebook or MySpace.

I left all of my exes back in high school--where they belong. (I was "free" the first two years of college and started dating my now-wife my junior year.) As an added bonus, I never dated anyone in my own grade in high school--I won't even see them at reunions!

Okay, so I did have a fling with a high school classmate in college who turned out to be a psycho. And she did try to break up me and my wife by telling her that I was a coke head (never touched the stuff) and telling me that my wife was trying to get pregnant by me (we hadn't consummated yet at that point) to trap me into marriage. And she did drop out of college and move to Colorado when she realized no one bought her lies and the game was up......But thankfully SHE didn't show up to the reunion.

Still, I don't want my exes to find me. I wasn't exactly good at breaking up with girls in high school.

when she's b1tching, you take a book and smack her with it so hard the face dents the book...
Then later when you moved on and feel like reminiscing, you can look back at the book, hence, facebook. Likewise she get's a bookface to look at in the mirror.

Jan. 7 and we've already got a post-of-the-year contender!

Let's see, one of my exes is married and is a professional latin dance instructor. Still hot as ever. Another one turned raging lesbo, chopped off all her hair, and looks like Elijah Wood.

Yep...I'm an old fart...and if you keep breathing long enough, and refrain from being a wise ass in the wrong type of places, you might live long enough to become an old fart too!
