I'll be building a similar one, from scratch, for my 3yo daughter (in blue - her only demand) in the near future. I'm still debating between a 911 body or a 550. body will most likely be a combo of steel and glass. initially it'll have an electric motor. I'm thinking 1/2 or 1/3 scale (hard to find tire/rim combos in this range that look right).

wife has signed off on the idea, but that's about as far as I've gotten. we're looking to get into a bigger house this spring, so once that's settled - I'll start building the "blue bomber"

If I was rich, my kids would have one of those.
