Having lived in one of the original thirteen colonies and Texas I think I can speak about this topic. The 4th of July was huge in my hometown in Jersey. Parades, fireworks, and funnel cakes. In Houston it's just who can have the bigger fireworks display. I really do miss it up there.
p.s How many states actually have a trail that run's through there city visiting different patriotic sites such as Paul Revers house and Old iron Sides? Been a long time since I hiked the Freedom trail. |
I like Texas, New Hampshire, Oregon and Montana. Wyoming too.
Having lived in Massachusetts for a large part of my life I can say it's extremely rich in HISTORY, not so much in patriotism. |
So you're asking which state has the highest percentage of people (people are the state, right?) who have a love of and devotion to this country? Good luck getting an objective answer to that question!
By the way, Shaun, I'm more patriotic than you are! :p |
My excrement is more patriotic than...oh, getting carried away. I never saw that coming.
