Current Canadian music is putting the Stars and Stripes to shame. So much good music coming out from the great white north right now, Arcade Fire being one of them. To that list I'll add:

Feist
Broken Social Scene
Plants and Animals
The Weakerthans
Hawksley Workman

But, I totally agree. CBC is my goto station on Sirius. Great stuff. However, it should be mentioned that Win Butler is from Texas.

Toronto is a great venue for live music. I've seen some incredible local bands there.
