Lusted after these after finding them, then waited 20 years to buy them from the original owner. Pictures are not mine but you could not tell them apart. And sound that is incredibly sweet

I helped the PO get new output tubes in them in 1983. Thats how I found them. Also own a set of Ohm I's, Boston A-400 and a set of JBL 4343 Studio monitors, only 160lbs a piece.
He also has 5 Ferrari's and is turning 94 this year just wish I could get a deal on a 360 like I did on the McIntosh gear.

I'll bet she still looks incredible. What a doll! Face it...she's probably aged much more gracefully than any of us!

I'll take a Hasseblad H3DII-50

And a M8 with the Noctilux 50 f/0.95 that nostatic posted for carry around. And while I'm at it I might as well throw in the Summilux 21 f/1.4 for the wide stuff.

Still made and very popular with enthusiasts. Actually quite easy to find online. The GRD2 is a 28mm fixed lens camera, and the GX200 is a zoom. Both shoot raw and have excellent handling/ui. Lots of Leica owners and other "serious" shooters use them as street and pocket cams.

You can get them from Popflash or Adorama.

A man after my own heart. I too abhor a scratchy bass sound. I played bass in several bands back in the day, and have no use for the spendy, cranky, obnoxious Ricky. Give me a plain ol' sunburst Fender Jazz and an Ampeg SVT and I'll show you what electric bass guitars should sound like.

I'm with ya on the SVT. Played my T-Bird through one for years, but got too damn old to drag it around anymore. I'm still playing through an Ampeg now but it's a BA115HP. Still rocks the house and only weighs 80lbs. There is no amp that can compare with an SVT, they just flat out rattle your nuts standing in front of it.

I'm not a Rick fan either, but I do prefer bolt-ons. My Zons are both bolt-on, as were my various Music Man/Ernie Ball bases. And my Sadowsky. For whatever reason I find them a bit more articulate. Same with guitars - I *hate* through-body or set-neck guitars.

Yep, I visited the Torture Myself forum again today... suffered through another bout of hardware lust and regret... guy only wants $4K for this '87 944S.

FS: 1987 944S Super Clean DD $4k, So Cal

It would be a lot better-looking with Fuchs.
