The Superbowl, I don't ask much from karma...
The last year or so hasn't been so great. I've lost my business, my Porsche, my motorcycles, etc... I've gained 50 pounds, had a hernia, and my prostate seems to be throwing in the towel pitifully early in the game of life. The proverbial trainwreck if you will.
But... if you can see to it the Cards hand the Steelers an embarrassing defeat for the ages today we'll call it square...deal? I should add that I have no special love for the Cards, they are almost a non factor save for my appreciation of Fitz, Bolden and Warner as individual players...no this all stems from a deep and seething hatred of the Steelers that burns with the raging intensity of a thousand suns. The only thing that could be better than a Steelers loss today would be if Cower were still the coach. That is all. p.s. I'll scratch the prostate thing and the motorcycles if you see to it the Cards at least cover the spread. ![]()

An old adage...it's okay to root for the underdog, but it's not the way to bet.

The Cards beat the spread, right? So, how much does the bookie have to pay you, Len?

What a game! Cards played the better game, IMHO.

The steelers are our other state team, so i get to quasi-celebrate tonight. Haha, was a great game though. 2 Hall of fame QB's showing thier stuff on the biggest stage. Magnificent.

Now for the letdown...nothing to watch until the Daytona "five hunnerd". NBA just doesn't interest me...

Sorry, daddy. I thought the Cards had it. Holmes should have definitely been thrown out of the game for his behavior.
Oh well, it's the only game I watch all year. I really don't think there's much to see and Holmes proves that. What a piece of crap. |

WTF!!!
Where was the booth review on the last play!? That was the textbook definition of a play that warrants review.

The very last play.
It looked like an incomplete pass to me, not a fumble.

I was rooting for the Steelers, and it was indeed a great game, and while it was awsome for the Steelers, it sure does suck that the Cards lost, they played fantastic.

It was a good game for a change. Before we weep for Warner, don't forget the 100 yard pass interception for a TD he lobbed. That was a 14 point swing. He can't blame anyone but himself.
