I can vouch for the thing, I just ran my pawn shop for a week with one after an ice storm hit.



I see them in the winter Northern tool catalog for $999 shipped.
I got mine at a somewhat better price, was un-redeemed a few years back.

Etching your name isn't gonna do much good either. Let's say you're camping and you go on a hike. Some dude takes it, drives home... maybe in the next state. Solution:

Niko-pressed fittings on a cable that is attached to a metal plate with a hole through a 12mm bolt on the exhaust. Isn't fool proof, but will slow down the average smash and grab POS. Lock the other looped end with a sturdy padlock.
