Taking a unique e-mail address with you. Make sense?

We are shutting down our company but I'd like to keep my e-mail address. We own the domain name(s) and am wondering if there is a cheap way to just keep it going. It would just be the one address (mine) that I want to keep. My current provider said $13 a month to keep the address active without broadband service.

Is there a better way? Some kind of forwarding service maybe? Should I just bite the bullet and get a new one?

If you own the domain, I can host it for you and either let you use your email client via pop3/imap, or just forward all your mail to a gmail address. Send me a PM if you are interested.
