Momz is going on a cruise....cruise ship goes aground and 5 dead...
Like the old joke....why does Italy have glass bottom boats? So they can see they old Italian Navy.....and/or cruise ships.
Overhead Bin - Cruise ship runs aground off Italy; deaths reported The Med is small compared to the greater seas, you'd think with modern navigational aids that could avoid this kind of hazard.

Kind of curious that a few passengers died. It seems like a relatively innocent "crash." This wasn't like the Titanic or Andrea Doria.
And I think the proper term that will be filled into the ship's log is "touched bottom," not "ran aground."

a 165 ft gash. that isnt caused by going SLOW in reef infested waters. this capi-tano is muy TOAST! that is really bad ju ju for him. kind of like a 777 pilot landing on the 405 or the 10 freeways by mistake.
well this is gonna be a hell of a salvage op. and a hell of a haz mat site for years to come. cant wait to see if reef charted. if it IS..............well the lawsuits will be flying. i dont think they will leave it there for ever as an artificial reef for us DIVERS due to how new it is and costs. maybe it hit a mine or was torpedoed by kim ill sung or iran. maybe the italian mafia did it?????? so much for WATER TIGHT INTEGRITY!
