Do not take this lightly. I almost died from a very similar scenario. Scratch/staph infection/bloodstream/borderline septic when I got to the ER. The doctors told me I was within hours of dying. A week in the hospital and a bunch of IV's later I was OK. jt | ||

Thanks guys, swelling is finally going down (I spent the weekend on my back taking my meds) and go back to the doc tomorrow. I wish that I had checked this over the weekend, but knew I would stay on & try and get some other work done instead of keeping my leg raised.

Be careful here...staph is nothing to mess with. Ask Kevin!

I always wanted to stay in a place that cost $3,000 per day...but a hospital is not the place!

Saw a brown recluse bite that took 6 months to heal and left a significant divot on an otherwise healthy patient. My friend, I am so pleased to see you are not dead 44 is not freezing, pretty cold for Florida though
