Sebring 2009- Who's going?

I know I've said this before, but THE race is coming up soon. IF I can get the time off, I would love to see what I believe is the last great 12 hour ALMS race. Audi, Puguet, Accura, BMW, Corvette, will all be there. The last Sebring race I was at was in 1968, so I suspect the town has changed a bit. ???. Are there any other Pelicans going this year for a little get-together? The idea of central Florida in mid march is really looking great, plus the wife said this is my year. I've said I'm going for the last 20 years, and haven't. So what say all of you. IS THIS THE YEAR/

Yeah, Sebrings changed a little since 68. More like transformed into a city. The downtown circle still exists though. The track itself has changed a lot too with only 2 straights still a part of the runways.

You missed last years RS Spyders! I wonder what happened to em?

Generally the easiest place to meet is at the Porsche corral. I dont spend the $100.00 + to park in there but I do stroll thru there to look at the cars.

I'm lined up if I'm feeling up to it, one of my entertainers is heading down on Thurs, so I can catch a ride with him, my attorney will be in the same spot with his RV that he has had for 20+ years, sleeping covered, I have strippers lined up again

since I haven't been drinking much because of meds lots of different beer(beer club) So as long as I'm feeling up to it, all bases are covered

Well,the doctor nixed me heading down on Wed

I got a call at 1:40AM from one of my Special Friends asking where I was, that she brought a friend who looks like Pam Anderson (blond with big boobs) and that her friend already had a nice collection of beeds

and they were settin up a portable hot tub today (might be worth losing a leg

)

Plus one of my other buddies from Atlanta, called today to find out where I was

If it wasn't for Leslie's cell phone pix, I would really be bumming
