Early adoption was done a few years ago. "She" (the one on the right) was featured in a HBO special about the guy who manufactures them. The woman doll, along with a fellow male version are anatomically correct and covered with flesh-like silicone. Their height and weight are human like. The "woman" was purchased by a wife for her husband. They used it as a marital aid. In another segment, the male version was the star in a menage a trois w/a couple of porn actresses (live). A little creepy, but interesting, but not robotic like the Japanese version.

They must realize that no matter how sophisticated they make the robot, until it can manage my weewee it isn't really of much use to me?
