Looking for Remington Rand M1911A1 slide

I have a mismatched 1945 M1911A1 with a parkerized Colt slide and a Remington Rand frame. Do one of you "gun guys" want to trade or sell a Remington Rand slide in unmolested condition? I'm new at collecting these and I really like them. My 82 year old friend is helping me and the Clawson book is on it's way to me right now. I'm checking the popular gun sites on the web, but thought some of you "collectors" might be able to help. Thanks!

A guy on gunbroker.com has one and I'm negotiating right now...

Nope, the pics the guy sent me showed holes for a scope drilled into the top of the Remington Rand slide. I'll keep looking!

what would you want for the colt slide, and does it come with the barrel ?

I don't want to sell the barrel, only the slide. I don't want to sell the Colt slide until I find a Remington Rand to replace it. I'll let you know when that happens. Thanks!
