re handgun -- once you decide between the first tradeoff (reliability of a revolver vs....)

you then get to the 2nd tradeoff -- bigger punch vs. more rounds per clip

anyway, you probably know how I'd resolve the 1st from the 2nd....

in an obvious evolution of yer needs...............an armored vehicle would not be a bad idea at all.

hell get the company to cough up the dough as a company vehicle. hell if its that dangerous of a job why are they not picking up the tab for body armor???????

LOL. I'm actually good buddies with one of the Company Commanders from the first Stryker Bn to serve in Iraq. (he teaches at West Point now).

He loves em, but wishes they had a better gun. (to which i agree).
