Great writeup. The author does I much better job than I could have.
Only small correction is the four door version of the Biturbo (despite the name) is not the Quattroporte but the "425." The Quattroporte was a big, luxury car (with a real Maserati V8) which shared little with the Biturbo aside from styling.
