too much to read, but I did see this video. I'm not sure this is a factory approved way to do a valve grind! I've heard of 3 angle jobs, 5 angle jobs, I guess this tops them all with basically an "infinite angle" job!

Wow for some reason I am reminded of my cousin and his buddies. Just glad he is too lazy to attempt something that major.

That thread is hilarious. When I first saw it I was saying "55 pages, are you kidding? I ain't reading through that", but then you start... And you just can't stop... It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion. And it just keeps getting more and more mesmerizing...

Simply astonishing the level of Stupid that's out there.

And just think: We share the road with these people. They're out there.

Well, these people exist, but due to the level of their, um, craftsmanship, we're probably not sharing the road with them as much as you might think.

This is like a metaphor for the entire project... I'm just speechless.

If you ever needed proof that money <> brains, look no further...

I had some Spanish speaking people come into a shop I used to work at. They wanted me to put a new wheel on their van. Well the wheel came from U-Pull-it and the bolt pattern didn't match up. They tried everything to get me to drill a freaking hole so it would work. I told them no and that I didn't want to get sued when they crash... This thread reminds me of that.

My favorite:

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, not on the car itself, just on the guy...

3rd engine build they take care of... (first one is your favourite, second is the NA Eclipse) Nissan CA18DET engine.

-In just for a rebuild, nothing too serious.

-Cams installed (std, must check on this), and TIGHTENED

-Timing belt installed

-Engined turned by hand

-CAMSHAFT BROKE IN 3 PIECES!!!!

Official comment: "Not our fault, your cams were bad..."
THAT bad? How can you snap in three a cam just turning the engine by hand?
