DId you buy it??. That is gonna make one awesome leisure van. Tow your car to the track on Saturday, Go camping in the mountains on Sunday. I have had conversion vans most of my life. I used to pull my track cars with them, and use them for vacations/trips, concerts etc.. . Almost got a 4x4 chevy van a few years back . They dont haul gravel or fire wood too well, but will do any thing else you ask of them . Nothing better than van camping.

I did. My son and I head for the Smoky Mountains during his spring break in April: I'll will tow my 1983 RX 250 Honda and his old four runner for non hiking days.

It is in perfect shape.

Chip (my neighbor) says 18 to 20 on the highway in 2 wheel drive...lock the hubs and wave good-bye.

This thing has an outdoor shower, all the hook-ups and a fold down queen bed

Paul, I like that. I have gone through one tank of gas in my diesel powered Excursion and I got about 18 mpg, with I'd say 75% freeway driving and 25% city driving, so I am looking forward to seeing the mileage on a long trip. The higher altitude seems to help mileage though.

It would kill the mileage, and be totally impratical, but some bigger tires would look sweet on that.

A girl I knew back in high school had one - she used to call it her "boom boom van".

God bless you, i could not imagine being trapped in that with my old man for hours on end. I envy you your closeness with your boy. Not all of us have that.

I am sooooo jealous! I always thought one of those would be the pinacle of van ownership. I still miss my old one, & it was just an regular old van.

I'm very lucky...a lot of it is spending a bunch of time together on the farm doing guy stuff.

That and he is a much better Son than I am a Father...trust me on that. He is solid gold...wants to be a sniper, BTW: I just nod, cool as the back side of a well digger

I sold it and gave the profit back to the guy I bought it from (who is my closest neighbor and a great guy). I sold to a couple in New York State for about 4k more than I paid for it. My buddy actually delivered it to them.

Long story, but I hated driving it...
