Check out my new bike.

What a machine. It's mine now. This is an old photo, but I'll have more soon.

Went to pick her up in Flagstaff today and had a very nice ride home through Sedona and then did some silly highway speeds on I-17. I'm gonna get into trouble with this thing. It's scary fast. Can't wait to do some more riding tomorrow.

Looks nice, but I'd ditch the training wheels.

No off-roading!

Congrats. Keep the rubber side down on that - it ain't going to be as user friendly as the GS. Sweet bike though. I wish my back and knees could handle that riding position.

Hell, right now my back won't handle the GS even

Not my bike, but identical except I have a Remus exhaust. These are very sexy.

Very nice Rick.

For reasons I cannot explain the bike drive has left my body for the time being. Perhaps it's the lack of slush time and money... When the drive returns I would give that bike a hard look (but probably go back to a Triumph triple)

Nice Bike. I was real close to buying a candycane R/S a little while ago. I really like those bikes. It you think those are scary fast, better stay off the new K bikes though

Yes, I test rode a K1300S a few weeks ago, but was afraid to really push it. I think this bike is way sexier. The new K1300's only come in lava orange, light silver and that magma two tone. And with the insane depreciaton the K1200's are taking, I couldn't bring myselt to drop $18k for a K1300. Boxer engines run in my blood.

is it running lean? The pipes are pretty blue, or is that normal for those bikes? Sweet bike, have fun and be safe!

My fuel light just came on at 129 miles, so if anything, it's running rich.

Congrats. That's a gorgeous ride. Stay safe.

With a heavy enough right hand, 129 miles to reserve and you could still be lean!

Funny plates. What is German for "hex"?

My back hurts just looking at it. I love that bike though - it makes the 1100S look portly and stodgy.

No offense to 1100S owners

Nope - Just a trait of the single walled pipe. Most Japanese bikes run double wall pipes, so many aren't used to this look.
