...and how was your day?

The tourists have gone. The mountains are empty. The sky is blue. Perfect.

One too many planks there. And what are those other things holding your gloves up?

Dunno for sure how today will end but last night I got home from work, cracked open a cold one and jumped in the 87 degree pool.
It didn't really feel that warm because it was 95 degrees outside. I ended up floating around on a raft for about 4 beers, then got out and grilled a few burgers.
Hopefully today will be an exact copy except I turned off the solar heating system so the pool should be down to 84 by this evening.
Quite a contrast from those pictures ...........

Thats cool, belive it or not we had a ski hill in Ontario open this past weekend as well which is pretty much unheard of this late in the year.

On the weekend I decided to go kayaking instead.

My day? I learned today that my wife will be comign back to Seattle early next month to be present at the divorce hearing on the 11th. That's going to be very, very hard on me. A divorce I desperately don't want, even though I'm the idiot who filed.

Really beautiful,... almost looks like some locations here. Especially this time of the year. The vista looks 'similar' to the top of Chicago Ridge on the Continental Divide above Leadville, Co. and a little place called Ski Cooper. Where is it?

The worst day (fill in the blank with your favorite hobby) is better than the best day workin'.
