In the middle of the song when she went up 4 octaves without flinching was / is extremely difficult for the most experienced singers. Unbelievable.

I'd like to see some of todays so-called super star rappers even get close to that.

I just caught a clip of Diane Sawyer interviewing her and Ms Boyle comes across as a down to earth genuine soul. I hope they don't ruin her with all of this.

I think Susan has talent but my expectations were higher. I kept hearing that she was so awesome, I would be tear jerking the Pacific ocean when I watched her sing.

Again I think she has talent, but I think her talent is over emphasized because of her less than sightly appearance. I have heard many singers that were as good or better.

I am not heartless, just a realist and don't mean to denigrate her. I just think the obvious contrast in aesthetics vs talent has over rated her..IMVeryHO
