well, the time has come. my barber feels guilty taking my money.

my hair has reached DIY status. almost all gone now. i (up until now) went to a fun barber shop. we talked smack, looked at hot pedestrians. my last buzz he suggested that i buy my own buzzer. it takes 10 minutes for him to slowly buzz my head. typically a cute russian lady does the work, but the rotation doesnt always go that way. she takes her time, and stretches the chore.

i do either a #1 or #0.5 all over. i just ordered my very own, Oster Classic 76 from amazon. genetics...sheesh. i feel the thin-ness now that the barber wont take my money. hehehe.

Use to buzz my own hair when I was in college. Over the years I figure I saved my self several thousands of dollars cutting my own hair...including the years when I let my hair grow to shoulder length. I know where that saved money went....BEER!

My really bald father in law said they called it a finders fee, not a haircut.

Being a bald or balding Asian guy is cool.

I have more and more on my back, belly and neck - and less and less on the top of my head..

My response is a laugh......then a sigh. But you forgot the nose hair.

I've cut my own hair since I was 19.

I hate barbers. I went to a couple of unisex places in the past, but they were awful.

the russian lady...well she is from that place where Borat is suppose to be from, some blank-kistan place. sorry never saw the movie.

she started off kinda homely. now she is cleaning up nicely. she used to touch my head more than she probably should have. but this was in the more homely stage. plus she has a 10 year old son...no thanks. now the guys line up for her station! they love her. i can barely understand her but her hands are soft. she is a cool lady. honestly, she probably isnt that hot, but again, soft warm hands, and she whispers right up in your ear.

Hmmm. Sounds like the ex-wife of one of the 914 board members.

i've been using the same oster clippers for many many years, the most important thing is to keep the blades oiled, i've been using 3in1 on mine and they're still perfect

Everytime I go to the barber he is cutting my hair shorter and shorter.

The barber says to me "itsa looka better when shesa cut shorta."

I agree with Enzo and spy the hair shaving tool and his technique.

Next time I'm in Costco I pick up a Wahl hair cutting kit.

Voila........same friggin job only no $15 charge and a $5.00 tip. The twenty is my pocket. Now I'm proud.

The wife and kids think I'm crazy at first and becoming cheaper in my old age. Nope, that's not it. Why should I pay a guy to do the same job I can do just as well!

The family is used to it now and I even offer to do their hair but no go.

Jeez, I thought I was the only geezer doing his own hair.
