The man was reckless and stupid, the woman was plain stupid.

Just goes to show there are people out there too stupid to manipulate a piece of rope (or nylon) without killing themselves, yet they're entrusted with a 6,000-pound vehicle by our illustrious government officials.

Probably given a half-million dollar mortgage a few years ago too, because she's so smart.

Sad ending for the dog.

That's just sad and nothing to make fun of. She may very well have wrapped the lease around her wrist and couldn't let go, especially under strain.

You guys are something else. After the lizard thread, and these cheap shots, I may need to resign.

which would mean she would not be able to handle him/her should it take a
interest in something else..
a little kid running by,..someone walking their dog..
these are powerful dogs..
having you GF handle it while you peddle around is stupid..
I'm sure he has another one soon ..
chained to some tranny case so they get strong..

Wrapping the lease [sic] around her wrist qualifies as stupid.

i agree,. i had an alaskan malamute. the dog was a turbo diesel. he could pull two men into the bushes. my mom couldnt walk him. it took some serious effort to teach that dog his strength. finally, we could walk him AND IT WAS GREAT! till then, you never wrapped your wrist in the leash. i once wrapped the lead around my waist. i was 16, and very dumb. the dog almost dragged me into traffic. we stayed in wide open deserted spaces after that, for training.
