Some Appliance Help
My Whirlpool Oven/Microwave is nuts!
What happens is, it loses power within the unit itself, what I mean is its not tripping the breaker. The readout goes blank and it latches itself in the lock position. After an 30 min to an hour it comes back to life and works fine. The next day same thing. ![]()

It may be a union appliance, working to rule....
Sounds like a board glitch. Is it still under warranty?

Search in google for repair info with your model number and some words that describe the symptoms. There are appliance forums out there. I have repaired my range a couple of times (bad display, bad thermostat) with forum help. Spare parts are usually available online as well. I have repaired Maytag and GE stuff.

Not funny, but my microwave blew yesterday. Damn it. Only 15 years of everyday use.
Looks like Whirlpool is out. Samsung it is! Karl 88 Targa |

try applianceguru.com
you can browse for free, but asking questions costs $5 to join, a one time fee, well worth it.
