GOLF - St. Jude Classic

Got to attend the St. Jude Classic this weekend in Memphis. Took my 10 yo son. Got to meet Bryce Molder - super nice guy. Was really pulling for him but Gay was just in the zone all week. Not sure Tiger would have beat him this week. I wish he was a little more personable with the kids though. Just walked right past them on Saturday after his round. A lot of disappointed kids that evening. Anyway, happy that Molder was able to hold onto 2nd place tie. I really think he will do well in the future. This finish should give him another year to prove himself anyway.

Spent a little while watching Mickelson sign autographs for the kids. He is really a top notch guy.

My son is stoked. Ben Crane gave him his glove on Saturday. He did not autograph the glove, so what does my industrious 10 yo do? He gets Mickelson to sign it instead. Then at the end of the day, he caught up with Molder again and he gave my son his glove too. This one signed by the rightful PO. Other than that, he got his hat filled up with autographs and is a happy camper. Saw some great golf on this tournament.

PS I was at Tigers first Open win at Pebble, my then 16 yo followed Justin Leonard around for 18 holes,, the guy wouldn't even acknowledge him what a dick!! Mickelson is a stand up guy for sure..
