my MIL and her sister (aunt-in-law?) took my took a family member to a chinese fortune teller. i dont know what she did, maybe broke opened a fortune cookie for all i know. the end results? she needs to finish school, then get married....AHAHHAHA i could have told them something similar!! crazy!

Several years ago I learned of a lady that did these readings. I thought it was baloney. Until I went. She used cards and the bible. She didn't tell you what was gonna happen in the future, ie: "You're going on a trip," etc. She told me stuff about my life in the past that there was no way of knowing if she didn't know me.
Freaked me out. Only went twice. That last time was too weird.
Do I believe? "You're going to come into money, get married, etc..." No. But when someone describes and tells me about my family members that were long dead, well. Yeah, maybe.

what good is knowing about the past? a psychic can tell me i am "smart and good looking"...psssh! i KNOW that!

i think a mix of past stuff, to prove she/he is legit...like how many fingers am i holding up? or what number am i thinking...and then move on to, here are your lotto numbers....that may convince me.

ok, my wife has an adorable cousin. very cute, very smart. she went to a reading...the lady told her she has not reached her potential, and would need to go back to school....DUH! i asked if her mother slipped the grifter a $20 spot to motivate the kid back to college...i got silence.
