I Didn't Listen

About a month ago I asked you guys for your opinions on a target rifle for the range.

.22 wmr vs .17 hmr

I was originally looking for a small cal rimfire rile with an under $500 price range. However after graduation I was able to sell some of my artwork and received some design awards that came with some checks. My brother was very kind an got my a barska scope for a graduation birthday present and about a week ago I got a graphic design job and decided to reward myself for my hard work.

I know the price of ammo is trough the roof but after a lot of going back and forth I decided to get this colt new from a family friend for a great deal.

I know it probably wasn’t the smartest economical choice but after the first day with it at the range it was shooting groups of 5 during break-in with 3/4in groups at 150 yards. I am very pleased with it.

I will just have to be sure to only take the 5-rnd mags and leave the 30rnd at home to save on money.
