Ya gonna go see the flick about the Iranian woman getting stoned to death?

The Stoning of Soroya, flick about Persian lady being stoned to death when her husband accuses her of adultery. Never saw Passion of the Christ, probably won't see this; I know this sharia sheite is bad, don't need to see it in action. Here is a review. Sounds like it is a pretty good movie, technically well done and I imagine very visceral.

Lets all try and keep it above the Mendoza line fellas.

I was hoping it would be some kind of melodramatic sequel to Woodstock or something.

I go to see very few movies, pretty much only go when my Nephew comes to visit, so I would have to really want to see a movie, or have a date that would rather see a movie over a play, to go..

I heard somewhere that you would have to smoke 1500lbs of pot in 15min to die. I think that is just from sheer smoke inhalation.

I've seen death and I've seen hate. I can't imagine paying money to see more of that.

incorrect. Pot contains THC, and the LD50 values for THC have been established for animals...

Sure, it's near impossible to have a lethal OD from smoking it. (unless you smoke 1500 pounds in 15 minutes), but ingesting enough concentrated THC (such as serious hasjisj) will be your one way ticket to your grave.

Real gore is something that most people will watch once and prefer to never see again. I watched some pretty terrible stuff on the internet, and I wish those images weren't in my head now.

I'll skip the movie. I don't need to see that to know that their laws are twisted.

Besides, we all already saw the real thing.

Not gonna see it. I prefer a comedy or a action movie. "The Hangover" was funny.

I think I saw a clandestine video of a girl getting stoned in Afghanistan or Iran a few years ago. It was pretty bad. No need to pay money to see it again.
