You need to spend more time on PARF.

Sherwood,
True what you post - no arguement. I just don't like them. There are folks who don't like spiders or snakes - irrational yes but real nontheless.

I'll go to the zoo and look at them, heck I even like it when they have sex or throw shyt at each other but it goes about that far. I view them as sub-human, a step below an episilon. All the other animals you wrote of are not even close - more viscious? Yep, but they are not capable of the cunning behaviour of our hairy brethern.

Oh ya, I'm not look for an analysis of why I do not like the lil bast tids or for anyone to attempt to change my mind (it would require me having a mind to change!) so that ain't gonna happen.

Just wondering if anyone else shared a similar distain?

I'll grant your dislike for monkeys. Not every creature is lovable. Some people love snakes or rats. YMMV. But I don't think monkeys go out of their way to eat your gonads (unless presented to them, that is). They are considered wild animals, hence the term. There have been many attempts to domesticate wild animals and most end up with an unhappy ending for one party or the other. Better to let them live their life. Every animal fits into the food chain in some way, I guess even cockroaches, and we are the beneficiaries of their balanced existence.

Apes are our friends (except possibly the one in my icon.)
