I've never seen honeybees build a paper type nest. I'm not an aparian by any means, but the only honey bee hives I've seen have been built in hollows of trees, logs, buildings, etc. Not out of the paper stuff that your outside nest has.
Is it possible that you have honey bees in the wall and a hornet/wasp nest hanging outside? It would be my luck to have both. ![]() angela

you did see the picture with honeybees coming out of a crack where the wall meets a window frame.... those are honeybees.
the other pictures are of wasps.

paper nest looks like bald faced hornets.
are they black and white? if so be careful very mean and aggressive. they kill other hornets and wasps. others are honey bees get a bee keeper to rescue them.
