Pro-Flex 855

For some odd reason I got Pro-flex on the brain last week. I always thought they were cool bikes in the day so I decided to do a search and found this one for $450. It looks like the shocks have been upgraded from the MCU's but I have no other details (including size)

Picture I found of an 855

What da' ya' think?

I think it would look cool next to my Klein

I worked for them during that error oops era!

The average life span for a 855 in Santa Barbara during that time was....47 1/2 days prior to massive failure.

The most cracks that was seen on 1 frame/swing arm was 13

I would spend $$$ elsewhere

Garage
I had an 856 back in the day. Looked cool, but I never liked the feel of the suspension. I was always happier with my S-works

I've had an 857 since new. Did these have the same failure rate?

You can do better than that for $450 on a older used full boinger...

Pretty crude. Your Klein is a way cooler bike.

$450 for a few years old can get you something with a more modern suspension at the rear, a better front fork and maybe disc brakes. Won't get you an uber light full suspension racer or a sound big hit bike, and probably not an XTR groupo, but you can definately get a really decent used bike in that range.

Pass.
