PM'd Z-man, but so far no joy....

Z-man will pass the request to Wayne.

When I went from Singpilot to Fingpilot, Wayne, made it happen.

Sorry to see you go. Enjoyed your posts.

? Just don't log in any more.

You can turn off emails and PMs in your control panel. Then, as long as you don't come back, you'll have the same result.

You could post a series of provocative nudie pix. You'd at least be permanently banned .

Dennis, I've had the same notion twice in the last few weeks. First I contacted nostatic and he gave the same advice as above. Just move on w/o burning any bridges. A while went by and I contacted z-man. He asked me not to go.

I hope the z-man does not mind that I quote him because I think he said something sage like.

"Keep in mind that PPOT is like the tide - sometimes there's lowtide, when all the trash on the shores are exposed, and there's the high-tide when all is covered and the currents are strong. We seem to be experiencing a low tide right now -- hopefully not for long...

-Zoltan."

Maybe that will encourage you, Dennis, to see that it isn't only you that sees this place simultaneously as a source of breaking news, humor, trivia, entertainment, and a sewer with plenty of roaches and rats.

Z, if you'd rather not be seen in that light, feel free to delete the quote.

Ah, Milt....you are one fine individual, but no...it is not the wife, it is just me. I spend too much time here for the value I get, I would rather just go work on the car....

And that's what Todd told me, just go work on the car. Leave your crutch leaning against the monitor.

What I am not enough to keep you all enthralled with my intellect?

BTW Mother has tried various schemes to get me off the PPOT..to no avail now she is assuage by the fact that if I were off PPOT I would be causing far more mischief for her than I do otherwise.

Glad you are still around Milt, that Z-man may be a wise man afterall, Good on him. Kinda agree. I just miss some of the great technical threads. Seems now that many of the important topics were covered to some extent and it is becoming a matter of doing a search. I miss the new data, the new threads by the really smart guys on this forum as it was exciting to just learn as the threads just seemed to unravel. But the Z man is right.

I've heard if you call a moderator a "douche bag" he'll cancel your membership for you.

Dennis;

PM me your password, and I'll get that account closed inside of an hour. Send along your ATM account and PIN and I'll fix that one right up too.

And if you call in the NEXT 10 MINUTES, I'll throw in a slap cratch gererator.

For the rest of your life, you'll know what a gererator is. And how many of us can poop anywhere, and in some cases, how much.

And you're gonna walk away from a life source like that????

Nah, Todd likes that if he is in the right mood. You gotta be a bit more lower level to get things done here.

Dennis, I've read your posts and think your views are astute. That thread was started by a troll, and he was successful in creating hard feelings.
Just stay away from the politics forum. Posting there is asking to be insulted.

Dennis - just leave it for a while. There will be a day soon when you'll need it, may be not the OT part, but the technical section.

I sometimes go for a few weeks without looking in and it's all so fresh when you get back.

Either that or spend some time just in the tech section helping a few folk out.

In short - Don't go!
