List All the reasons Why I hate the Blackberry Storm

My Treo went the way of all flesh so I went with Blackberry Storm. Big mistake. I really do not like this thing. Aside from going mute if I press my ear to close to the phone (this often happens when I am trying to listen to my lil one - she has a very soft voice), the buttons have a second delay when pressed, the user friendly concept is really not, the screen is sluggish upon transistions and I could not transfer all my info over from the Treo - only phone numbers and names.

I'm bringing it back this weekend and git'n sump'n else.

My wife has a Storm and she loves it. She did say that there was about a two week learning curve time when she didn't like it at all.
I got an LG EnV Touch. I really like that phone. It also takes really good photos.

I've owned one for 6 months. Plus. Email, texting, work ok. Verizon is solid reception. I'm not one to download endless apps and try to figure out why or where I should use them. Minus. Battery life is poor. Does have some hiccups when trying to operate quickly. Its kind of bulky also. I would be all for an Iphone BUT AT&T stinks along the roads I travel making the phone useless. The Storm just had a new upgrade, you might want to see if yours is up to date.

I just got a BB curve and like it. I planned to get the Storm, but the guy at the Verizon store said definitely do not get the Storm. He said it was rushed out to compete with the Iphone and is a piece of junk. I also considered the Samsung Omnia, which he said was good smartphone but the battery life is an issue. Had I not been with Verizon for 15 years I probably would have gone with the iphone, which secveral of my colleagues have and really like. I have yet to hear of anyone that doesn't like the iphone.

Have a Treo 700p and bought the Storm two months ago. After a week of playing with the settings, turning off apps, dropping calls and dealing with its interface, I had enuf and went back to a rebuilt Treo 700p. The good news is that Verizon is getting the Palm Pre in Jan...waiting on that one.

The only storm I like is the X-Men character.

My boss hates it because sometimes it reboots when he answers a call.

I played with a friend's Storm. The screen clicks... it's a touch screen... and it clicks... like a button... That doesn't make sense to me.

Takes some getting use to. After a few weeks you will quite hitting the mute with your face while talking(I did). The recent upgrade fixed a lot of quirks like the screen freezing or slow reaction times.

i just don't get how a big (and goofy thanks to the click thing mentioned above) touch screen helps me get my emails any faster?

i think maybe what some people REALLY want is a good ol' star tac and a PSP.
