Tired of buying crappy wallets

Don't want to get into the wallet/money clip debate. I need a wallet, preferably bi-fold, and thin! But it also needs to hold my driver's license and 4-6 credit card size cards, along with cash of course. I am tired of buying crap wallets that leave their leather dye on my cards!

I have a Paul Smith wallet...standard black on the outside with a cool chick on the inside. It's high quality and thin. I used to have an LV wallet that my ex bought me, but it was too large (in both LxW as well as thickness).

i keep buying the same wallet over and over again. i plain black, bi-fold TUMI wallet. about $125. if i dont lose it, it last for years and years. it wears nicely, and looks great.

mine usually dies by washing machine...then i go and buy the same one again.

I use this:
http://www.maxpedition.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=11&idproduct=86

REALLY thin, room enough on the front pouch for the drivers license, debit card and credit card, then enough room for those extras inside. I fold cash in half and place it in the middle, but I don't regularly carry cash anymore. It's held up well over the last 4-5 years and expect to get many more years out of it.

Paul, I think I paid $90 on ebay. somebody got it as a gift and didn't want it. I wouldn't have bought it for $220

I've bought expensive ones in the past and they all were junk in a year or two. I bought a Croft & Barrow from Kohls for about $30 and I've had it for about 5 years now and it still looks great. I'll probably get another 3-5 years out of it. I will buy C&B from now on.

I did notice the Paul Smith designer wallet was only single stitched...I usally look for two rows of stitching.

Have not carried a wallet in 20 years.

Don't miss it.

God says, "Pockets"

Boy asks why.

God says, "with pockets comes things to put in them"

Geezus guys. I bought the one I have now at a gas station convenience store for six bucks and it's the best one I've ever owned. Only slightly larger than the size of a standard credit or business card. Room for a few bills (cash), my DL and two debit cards. That's about all I need to be carrying around at any given time. I certainly don't need to be paying $100 or $200 (or more) on a wallet.

I hope it is okay if I plug my Dad's company:

http://www.thinnestwallet.com/

My, Dad, Brother, and Sister run the company so call in the order and tell them you are a member of the POC, PCA, or that you love Porsches and they will give you a 20% discount (my whole family loves P-Cars). They put a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of their products and they don't hesitate to send you your money back if you tell them you don't like the product.

Shawn, went to the website and the wallets look like something worth trying. And the price is right too! I talked to Bridgett (your sister) and the wallet is being mailed out tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up. And thanks to all the other suggestions from you guys. If this wallet doesn't work out I may try another suggestion off of here.

Here's what you're looking for, made in the US from quality leather.

I can highly recommend other products by Glaser Designs - they are designed and made to last for a lifetime.

His wallets are good, sober, classy, only needed two in the last fifteen years. (but I never put them in my backpocket)
