Wayne, shut the forums down

Your other forums here are full of spam. We can figure another way to log on if you tell us.

The Ring-tone guy? I took care of his this AM. --it's fun being a mod, and clicking "Delete all posts by this user"

It helps speed things along if you click the little (bottom left corner) to report spammers.

Do not be surprised at receiving this mail. I believe that there is no harm in trying someone trustworthy at heart. A new relationship will go a long way to help me.

I need you to come and stand as 'next of kin' to one mr. Mansour rahbani who died in 1999 of a heart condition here in lagos. Some years ago, mr. Mansour made a numbered (or fixed) deposit of us$27,000,000.00 million in my bank. Unfortunately, he did not mention a next of kin in any of his papers with us or his contractors - texaco oil.

Since then, there have been no responce to our international advertorials calling for any relative to contact us. It is four years now and still no responce. By august ending, the interest will be rolled over, bringing the total claims to us$28,000,000.00 million.

My department has the mandate to oversee the internal clearance for claims such as this and the final approval signature for payment is mine. You have no risk. By law, you only need to show-up once before the money will be paid into your account abroad. However, please know that the money will be shared between us; i will take 60% and you: 40%.

There are reasons why we need to claim this money fast. I will give you more comprehensive detail when you reply.

Thank you.

Dr. Ahmed ibrahim

Can you shutdown playa "while you're in there"? Talk about a waste of bandwidth.

Sure, it was funny the first few posts and I got pulled into the ruse but it has jumped the shark, whale, dolphin, and sea kitten.

Guys,

We need your help to keep the spam out. FOr example, I moderate most of the regional forums. As much as I'd love to have the time to scan 20 forums a day looking for spam I can't do it, don't have the time... So if you see a post that is spam, report it!

I'm going through and doing some cleanup now.

Additionally you can always volunteer to be a Reg. Mod to Wayne!

I do frequently report. I don't think anyone wants me as a mod. I'm planning a sign off sometime this year anyway. (20,000)

Well, OK, but no more than a week or we'll come after you.

Really, there are just some folks that shouldn't be allowed to leave.

Not according to a few. If you own an airplane, you probably hate me. If you're a real young techie, you probably hate me. If your mind is constipated and won't see another angle, you probably hate me.

Apologies to Jeff Foxworthy.

Not me. Your points of view are usually concise and wise. You rarely (if ever) put anyone down. You're a total craftsman. And you surprised me not too long ago when you mentioned someones big tits or something like that. I remember laughing out loud, because it was sort of out of place for you.

Anyway, enjoy your hiatus, you deserve it, and I for one will welcome your return

Chris I'd be willing to take the Tex-Mex off your hands.

Actually looking again I would be willing to take a few of those off your hands.
