Ok, you can have the younger Boxster, but keep in mind, your 911 looks a lot better than mine....
So your Boxster cannot trump mine in the looks department..... :D

livi 10-04-2011 05:23 AM

Thats alright.

Just as long as you IMS breaks first. :D

I'd love an S but I'll probably stick with a 2.7 and mod it later on... (chip, exhaust, you know, the usual...)

Eeh, break it down for me, or fill the gaps.

You changed jobs , different company, but no Company car in the contract?

Or they changed your job function, within the company and took your car away?

My car is part of my employment contract, they can't take it away from me without sacking me.. And if they sack me, the severance period( worth 6 months) i keep the car and the fuel card...
Worst they could do is replace it with a crapmobile in which case i probably start looking for a job that comes with a Bimmer again.. yes, i am a corporate whore in that respect.

If you changed jobs without negotiating a company car, then your buggered because it's impossible to get it compensated in nett value.. Not going to happen.
If that's the scenario, then you should have known that up front and so should they.

It's cheaper for them to get you a Bmw 5 series company car then to compensate the usage value of a VW Golf company car in Nett cash.

What kind of antibiotic? What symptoms?

livi 10-04-2011 06:32 AM

Looks great, Richard!!

What year model? Which engine? How long have you had it? How many miles? Much problems?

porsche4life 10-04-2011 06:33 AM

And now we know why Sid doesnt like taking antibiotics....

Porsche-poor 10-04-2011 07:03 AM

Sulfanethoxazole. Nice set of hives itch and at least one on my tongue that's why pharmacy sent me to er.

Geronimo '74 10-04-2011 07:17 AM

Stijn,

I'll be working for the same company but a different division. I will get a new contract and since the new job does not require a company car and they don't want to create a precedent, I have to give it up but the will compensate it financially.

nynor 10-04-2011 07:44 AM

antibiotic reactions can be BAD.

Right. I suppose you got it for some type of infection. Have you tolerated it before or never used it? How long into the treatment when the reaction started (minutes/hours/days)? Did you get any medication to use the next few days if the hives continuous or relapse? Any antihistamine?

Sorry for all the questions. Job habit. :)

you can opt to refuse the new contract.. play it hard.
And ultimately they may opt to let you go.. But then you get a free sabatical and a payout.

Sinus infection. Never had it before. Half hour after taking first pill. Doing ok now using claritin to kill the itch.

Geronimo '74 10-04-2011 08:17 AM

That's the thing, they don't have an alternative. It's almost a take it or leave it thing. And I don't want to leave without having another job to go to.
What is more, I am willing togive it a decent try as long as I get compensated in full for the loss of the company car. If not, and if I have no choice, I'll take what I can get and then leave them standing when I find something else...

Geronimo '74 10-04-2011 08:19 AM

Sabaticals don't pay much these days...

Porsche-poor 10-04-2011 08:24 AM

You will work it out. I have faith.
