lol

well, i think i might get away with a regular .22 out of a pistol, but not out of a rifle, the supersonic crack would get to much attention... And i better not think to empty a full box ...or somebody might call the fuzz.

But i am thinking about a small practice range inside my garage for pistol.. thinking about it.. the weak part is the garage door, the gaps are to big, the door is uninsulated... i'm doubt it will muffle the sound much..

You could build a small caliber decelerator, and since your 45 is subsonic it won't have too much impact if you build it right

Holy crap some people are just plain ol' stupid. I was cruising FB and an old friend of mine from high school made the usual happy holiday sentiment. Well one of the people who replied, and is on her list of friends is a guy who she dated right after high school who had to leave the state for a while to avoid the bullets from me and her brother because he beat her. AND SHE IS FB FRIENDS WITH THIS GUY!!!! WTF

Howdy Markus and the rest.

I am a little frustrated. I really want to go out in the garage and tinker. I need to set up drying hooks so I can paint a batch of parts.

porsche4life 11-24-2011 06:57 AM

GH85Carrera 11-24-2011 07:01 AM

It's the sound i need to worry about... Subsonic as a .45 may be , they still make a lot of noise...

And silencers are , you guessed it, verboten.

I think it's doable with .22 in a pistol
but haven't got one to test right now..

Rick V 11-24-2011 07:13 AM

I have a few you can try

Well.... Romex, has 2 or three solid copper wires inside.... Run a sharp knife down the jacket, and it will open up and you can strip the wires out...

RKDinOKC 11-24-2011 08:46 AM

Metal coat hangers, if you can find them any more.

Porsche-poor 11-24-2011 08:48 AM

dry cleaners.

RKDinOKC 11-24-2011 08:52 AM

Founder of the company I work for...

Hand dug a basement under his house. Part of it was that he built in a pistol range using the crawl space under the house. You had to go to an outside access panel to set and get the targets. You shoot through the crawl space using an access panel in the basement. He did .22 pistol competition.

For his larger guns he made a portable backstop that he would set up in the company warehouse at night. You shoot in the space between the rows of product.

porsche4life 11-24-2011 08:55 AM

The Romex is free.
