I guess I live in a sheltered world. I have never seen or heard of the baking soda penguins. We have a box of baking soda in the fridge, but it is just the box. That is what my mom had and what my mother in law has. No baking soda penguins. I don't ever remember seeing one before this thread.

Jeff, I want a pit for my garage as well. If I try to get a permit for a pit for working on a car it is immediatly denied because "fumes accumulate down there and can cause the worker illness, and it is an enviromental hazard from the oil and fluid spillage."

If I ask for a permit for a tornado shelter that just happens to right in the spot where I park in the garage that is no problem. Someday I want to put in a nice tornado shelter. The real advantage is it has a nice solid cover so tools and other stuff will not be falling into the pit. The cover slides back out of the way for "cleaning" :)

I have Heat Transfer and Mechanical Engineering Design midterms today, then a Fluid Mechanics lecture, then the weekend. On the upside I finished all my homework that is due up until the middle of next week. Mostly because my English class was cancelled due to the prof being ill this week for a couple days, then today is a Monday schedule to make up for the holiday and I don't have English on Mondays. I feel like I have been so productive without English class. :)

Fortunately I ain't got no class. ;).

At least that is what my wife tells me sometimes.

Just waiting for the gang to come over for Poker tonight. Don't know what I'm doing for snacks yet.
