Least she admits it...

Icemaster 04-10-2012 03:50 PM

That is the living breathing example of why I hate FB.

Flieger 04-10-2012 03:51 PM

I still am pissed about what they have done to the history channel and science/discovery channel. It is all gun shows modeled after American Chopper or else the shooting competitions, or Pawn Stars, or Aliens, or Idiot Abroad, Deadliest Catch, Gold Rush or...

I used to like watching History, and Science. And Discovery Wings. Now they have gone the way of Speedvision.

If I want to watch drama, I'll watch a movie or a channel with drama. Please keep it away from my documentary channels.

Rant over. I don't watch TV anymore anyway. :)

If you are so grouchy that the sight of yourself pisses you off the last thing you should do is play with social networking.
I just laugh and copy and paste here for a good giggle

Icemaster 04-10-2012 03:53 PM

"too grumpy to deal with myself" almost sounds masturbatory.

They finally put a picture of the somewhat completed car on the Cal Poly Racing facebook.

It still needs to be taken apart and put back together the right way- grade 8 bolts in suspension, correct thread lengths and shanks on the bolts, etc. :D This is just to see what breaks on the frame and to tune the drivetrain (torque vectoring).

Why are you guys smelting in a coffee cup?

RKDinOKC 04-10-2012 04:04 PM

No missed shift, just a broke cam right where the toothed belt gear attaches.

Now Max, THAT is a use of Facebook that I could get behind. Too bad it has all the other trappings of "guess what color my pee is today???"

The information sharing is where we should be going, the social networking is inviting the vampire into your bedroom.

Flieger 04-10-2012 04:05 PM

That is the gasoline team. I am not sure. It is in the shrink fit album so maybe they wanted some carbon as a lubricant? Either that or they are depositing some carbon in order to case harden it later in the heat treat furnace.
