In a recliner with a crown and coke? Geez, Sidney. You sound like an old man. You should be out at a loud bar with a group of your buddies while they cheer you on chugging down a beer. Goodness gracious! Or if you have more sophisticated tastes, sampling all the different wines and high end liquor at a wine bar or something.
I guess that will have to wait when you get to Houston. Okies don't know how to whoop it up?

Told you in my first post... The guys I'd go out with are all out of town this weekend. Damned losers...

Yea I have no intention of damaging my transmission to gain a second or two at an autocross that is just for fun. I have been autocrossing since 1974 and I have never broken my car. I have worn out a lot of tires and brakes but I have never broken my car.

Mine didn't have any issue finding first at low speeds, and like I said, 944 trannys are cheap and easy to change... And I've got a nice clean fresh one sitting on the floor.....

irritating news on the Exige. I had the PPI done on Thursday. After the PPI, i wanted to talk to the dealer. They didn't answer their phone. I called yesterday, and wasn't able to get through to them. I finally got ahold of them today....magically the car was sold this morning. Really pissed me off. They didn't even bother trying to call me and give me first shot at it. I'm sure they told the buyer "oh yeah...just had a PPI done on it yesterday. passed with flying colors." ...on my dime. i am beyond pissed.

I'd make them reimburse for that PPI, that or break their knees one.....
Here was my fastest run of the day.....
