Max, just ask the girl. I doubt she will slap you or kick you in the nuts. She may be hurt that you are not interested in her, but you will never know until you ask. All of that sounds easy but I know it is difficult. I was much like you when I was your age. I got over it by talking to any and all women that would talk to me.

I don't have much preachers daughter experience. Dated a plastic surgeons daughter once......her level of crazy was surpassed only by TEB......her crazy was if the fun variety though. Come to think of it, they both drive 3 series convertibles........maybe that's a clue.....

Wow, traffic on the blog is all over the place. And mostly semi-local hits.......

When I was in college, I had a coach tell me once (he was about 31 at the time) that we (as students) had no idea how easy we had it. Realistically, all we had to worry about in college was studying. We (most of us at least) didn't have to worry about real "adult things," like earning a living, saving for retirement, navagating the rat race, how to afford that new roof for the house, what to do with aging parents, etc. Heck, most of us didn't even have to really worry about paying for school/housing/food/books, even if we were on student loans or work-study.

He didn't mean it in a condescending way. It was more of an: appreciate where you are in life right now. It's a special 4 years. Don't look back on it full of coulda, shoulda, wouldas. One day, you will (to a certain degree) wish you were back in college.

Fail your classes! Stay in college!!

Noah930 04-16-2012 07:51 PM

That's the UCSB plan. :D

Porsche-poor 04-16-2012 07:52 PM

yeah what he said!!!!!!

I wish I was still in school.

porsche4life 04-16-2012 07:55 PM

Changing your major is a sure way to add some time... Ask me how I know... :D

Or skipping a while to go play in corporate America.... I still think I'll be done inside of 5 years.

Porsche-poor 04-16-2012 07:56 PM

the typical 5 year plan in action

HHI944 04-16-2012 07:57 PM

Hahahahaha! I just let out a fart that woke my dog up, scared him enough that he growled at the door then made him simper when he caught a whiff.

porsche4life 04-16-2012 07:57 PM

As long as I graduate in the 5 year plan I'll still be out debt free... :D

Noah, TOTALLY!!!!

Nynor, disagree with you. Friends with a lot of guys. Don't have a SO and I am not interested in getting anywhere with my guy friends. Makes me want to vomit a little just thinking about it.

Max, it is irrelevant if the girl you are friends with likes you or not. You don't have feelings for her. Don't like someone just because they like you. That is a formula for disaster. Believe me, personal experience.

Joe, thanks for compliment but sorry to say that there hasn't been a SOB that makes ME happy. ;) I don't think I am that picky or expect too much. I just expect somebody to keep up with me. Apparently hard to find. It's all good. Max, sometimes being "alone" is gonna be the best times of your life too. Just don't let it pass by because you were stressing out trying to be with somebody. :)

tweezers74 04-16-2012 08:08 PM

Sidney, I am a nurse. You boys are going to have to find something more disgusting than farting to offend me. Bodily functions don't scare me...

Porsche-poor 04-16-2012 08:09 PM

how's the kid temp down?

HHI944 04-16-2012 08:13 PM

It'll happen one day tweeze......just gotta have a little faith and keep moving forward.......whatever forward may be for the specific circumstance.

Yeah, the dog let's some rip that get me clearing out of the house.........

Hey tweeze, how are ya with sucking chest wounds? Those get to me way worse than anything else...
